		<description>Well, nau na must have been my very first ryūkōgo, which I learnt in 1974 before I even went to Japan!

I also remember naui, except that I tend to recall it in the form nauku nai, a phrase directed at me in amused ironic tones by an attractive young woman -- not an ojisan.</description>
